Both of these are awesome. I really like the blocks of text on the first one. Reminds me of the traditional wood panels in some old/fancy houses. Goes great with the pose.
Both are really good and are the quality of the images we were looking at online for reference.
Both great pieces. Really like them. The first is soft and natural looking. Good contrast from the other harsh/sharper digital images. I'd like to see how it would look with the background words in the hair smudged a little, perhaps.
I'm enamored with your second piece! The only critique I would suggest is finishing the shirt since where your text ends kind of looks incomplete--unless that was the look you're going for, then kudos to you.
I agree with the other comments--both excellent images (that background makes the first piece successful in a melancholic manner).
